We would like to wish all of our members a very happy new year and we are looking forward to the great angling stories to come our way from our collection of stunning lakes in 2016.
There have been lots of developments and improvements made in 2015. The opening of Wraysbury 1 day ticket water has been hugely popular with people travelling from abroad just to fish the historic venue. The works at the lodge are nearing completion and the shop in Wraysbury village has been the starting point for many fishermen to collect the essentials before their bountiful stays on the Horton and Wraysbury lakes. But more to come on that later!
Horton complex is once again being preened and prepared for the new season. The blackthorn trees that were planted last year are coming along well and many surveys are being undertaken to ensure that the native flora and wildlife are protected and thriving. Also in 2015 saw the installation of further security cameras to ensure the safety of all of our members and fish stock.
This year also saw a change in the membership numbers and the introduction of a new ‘Black’ card. The numbers on the lakes have now been reduced by 25% to make the venue more exclusive for our members. You can read more information on the Black ticket below. Former team member Maria has returned to the company this week and will be looking after the smooth running of the membership packs and any queries or issues that our members may have. Please call the office if you have any queries and she will be happy to assist.
We look forward to welcoming the old and new members and hope you all catch the fish of your dreams in this new season ahead!
